Who we are
We are a group of families and friends practicing bhakti yoga or Krsna consciousness, as directed by His Divine Grace A.C. Bhaktivedanta Swami Srila Prabhupada. We are in the Montreal, Quebec and Eastern Ontario region of Canada. We lovingly gather at each other’s homes or farm, at community halls or in public squares, to exchange greetings, comforts, lifestyle and personal gifts. We partake in delicious prasadam (spiritual food offered to Krsna) and make deep spiritual inquiry in to the standard vedic texts, translated by our spiritual master Srila Prabhupada, and share our personal realizations and inspirations. Above all, we congregationally chant the Hare Krsna maha mantra, or great chant of deliverance, for the eternal benefit of ourselves, friends, children, family members and the public at large.
Our Vision
Our aim is to cultivate and share the treasure house of Krsna conscious culture and education which gives authentic scientific knowledge of our true spiritual selves, the eternally blissful and cognizant spiritual world, God, the material cosmic creation, time and the nature of activities, both material and spiritual. The science of Krsna consciousness can be practically applied in all fields of activity i.e. philosophical, theological, social, economical, political, etc., all based on the instructions of His Divine Grace A.C. Bhaktivedanta Swami Srila Prabhupada, the most celebrated authentic spiritual master in the bona fide Brahma Madhava Gaudiya line of disciplic succession originating from Sri Krsna, or God Himself.
We aspire to promote the culture of simple living and higher thinking, cow protection and the engagement of bulls in agriculture and transport. Cows and bulls must be seen as much a part of our families as our own children, enjoying loving treatment and full, natural lifetimes. Such a natural agrarian lifestyle, combined with the consumption of the miracle food that is milk, is conducive for rapid spiritual development, the prime prerogative for the human being.
Athāto brahma jijñāsā means this human life is made for inquiring about the Absolute Truth.
