Shachi
When we bought Shachi we didnt know how she would adjust to her new environment. She turned out to be the most loving and docile cow we have ever had, thanks to the daily cuddles and attention from our littel cowherd girl Tila Radha. Shachi did a wonderful job giving birth to Shyama in November, 2025.

Shyama
Shyama was the first birth we have had on the farm for almost 8 years. The birth was flawless and boy, was he energetic when he made his appearance. He will be loved and engaged in all kinds of work on the farm!

Vṛnda
Vṛnda is one of the first two cows to take shelter at Śrī Kṛṣṇa Nāma Dhāma. She joined us in July of 2017 while pregnant and gave birth to Nandini soon after. We've been blessed with her milk ever since. She is a little shy to be touched, but with just the right approach will enjoy the personal care. She is so pretty!

Gaurangi
Gaurangi arrived in July 2017 along with Vṛnda. She gave birth just over a year later to Surabhi. She was the most docile of the cows and just a pleasure to hug. Gaurangi passed away naturally on March 10, 2025. We love her!

Nandini
Nandini was the first heifer to be born here and I personally caught her at birth to guide her gently to the floor. She was weak at birth but with our help was finally able stand on day two and nurse from her mother. She big and strong now. She is quiet and can often be found enjoying alone time a bit removed from the others. She loves a good neck scratching!

Surabhi
Surabhi is our magic cow. Born to Gaurangi she has never given birth herself. However, when Kṛṣṇa and Balarām were brought home as newborns from a local dairy, she allowed them to suckle her and soon was supplying them with up to 8 litres of milk per day as their wet nurse. We'll never forget!

Kṛṣṇa
Kṛṣṇa was picked up from a local dairy farm with Balarām at one day old. Always a bit smaller than Balarām, he has nevertheless grown to be quite strong and exceptionally beautiful with majestic horns. He is a well behaved and gentle bull and enjoys cooperating in the fields. Nothing beats watching him gracefully walk across the pasture. He is a site to behold!

Balarām
Balarām is the big boy boss. Nothing can get between him and what he wants if he so chooses. But is he ever a big teddy bear! There is no end to the personal care that he will accept. He is often the source of anxiety for the cowherd boys over potential escapes and destruction, but with a moment of friendly caressing, all is forgiven!

Chintamani
Perhaps a distant cousin of Kṛṣṇa and Balarām, Chintamani followed them from the same farm to ours in the Spring of 2023. It took her time to find her place in the herd and transition to the grass based diet here. Now she is a full-fledged herd member. She is so soft and gentle and her gaze will melt your heart!

Kunti
Kunti was born to Chintamani on Dec 14, 2025. What a little cutie. Look at those eyes. Have you ever seen something so innocent?!
