What We Do

Since 2017, we have worked to establish permanent program to protect Krsna’s cows and bulls beginning with the adoption of our two very first cows for milking, the first steps to creating an exemplary Krsna conscious village and Varnasrama College. Since then, we have increased our herd to seven cows and bulls, purchased a farm, expanded our network of friends and allies and broadened our activities to incorporate bull training and self-sufficiency agriculture.

Our Vision

Our aim is to pioneer the development of a self-sufficient Krsna conscious village and Varnasrama College based on the instructions of His Divine Grace A.C. Bhaktivedanta Swami Srila Prabhupada, assembling like-minded families and individual participants to offer and demonstrate learning experiences in the matter of the four authorised occupational divisions and spiritual stages of life. It all begins with upholding the culture of devotion to God and the revival of cow protection and engagement of the bull in agriculture. Cows and bulls must be seen as much a part of our families as our own children, enjoying loving treatment and full, natural lifetimes.

Our hope is to reintroduce an historically humane economic model as part of a broader movement for the spiritual realignment of society. This will be possible through development of autonomous agrarian villages centred around the protection and employment of cows and bulls, cooperation between all classes of men and women and devotional service to God (Krsna).

Our goal is to become a model village and training center for future residents and initiators of other independent villages. These villages will be an ideal breeding ground for simple and abundant living and sincere, scientific, non sectarian spiritual inquiry and philosophical thought. The understanding being that peace, tranquility and realisation of one’s spiritual identity is the prime necessity for every human being - or rather, every living being in the universe. Peace in human society starts with protecting the cows.

And protect the cows…Such a nice animal – faithful, peaceful, and beneficial.

— A.C. Bhaktivedanta Swami Srila Prabhupada
