What We Do

Since 2017, with loving support from our family and friends, we have worked to protect Kṛṣṇa’s cows and bulls beginning with the adoption of our two very first cows for milking. Since then, we have increased our herd to seven cows and bulls, purchased a 16 acre farm and broadened our activities to bull training and self-sufficiency agriculture.

Our Vision

Our aim is to continually strive to live out the vision of ideal life, not idle life, presented to us by His Divine Grace A.C. Bhaktivedanta Swami Srila Prabhupada, by making consistent efforts to depend on the land and cows for our food, energy and shelter. We are a work in progress. We would also like to serve as an inspiration and learning environment for friends, family and well-wishers to embark on similar ventures and realize the benefits of this natural lifestyle for physical health, mental well being and spiritual realization. Ultimately we would like to assemble with like-minded families to form a village, demonstrating harmonious cooperation between the authorized four occupational divisions (varnas) and four spiritual stages (ashrams) of life in the service of Kṛṣṇa (Daivi Varnāsrama Dharma). It all begins with upholding the culture of cow protection, engagement of the bull in agriculture and devotion to God. Cows and bulls must be seen as much a part of our families as our own children, enjoying loving treatment and full, natural lifetimes.

These villages will be an ideal breeding ground for simple and abundant living and sincere, scientific, non sectarian spiritual inquiry and philosophical thought. The understanding being that peace, tranquility and realization of one’s spiritual identity is the prime necessity for every human being - or rather, every living being in the universe. Peace in human society starts with protecting the cows.

And protect the cows…Such a nice animal – faithful, peaceful, and beneficial.

— A.C. Bhaktivedanta Swami Srila Prabhupada
